Republic.
Quiet and peaceful ("tranquilo") is how most visitors describe La Hacienda.
The Hacienda
operates on eco friendly principles and guests interested in low impact, green tourism and slow travel appreciate this ethos.
"It may not suit everyone’s tastes but for those who are concerned about the footprint they leave behind when they travel, La Hacienda is the place to be." |

Location
La Hacienda is located on a hill overlooking the bay in Las Galeras and three miles from the town. In the countryside, on the edge of Cabo Samana National Park, it is the ideal location for active people seeking a nature orientated holiday.
Hiking and horseback riding to Playa Madame, the viewpoint and Playa Fronton are some of the favorite activities of guests.
The 30 minute walk along the ocean to Las Galeras is pleasant for reasonably fit mobile people. Public transportation (motorcycle taxi) can be limited - especially after dark and if it rains.
There is secure parking if you have a vehicle.
